Works well. If you apply too much your weld will become porous and you will have to sand it down! The disgusting substances I used prior to this product actually work great, but they are toxic.

Disclaimer: I have not tried other brands of mudguards so I have no way of comparing this product. However, the fine splatters don't seem to stick as well as they did without the product.

Terrible product! I ordered this brand because my regular anti-splash spray was out of stock. What mistake. This stuff is useless. The photo I took is after the wire wheel has been machined on a grinder. With my usual brand (cantesco) you can just wipe most of the spills off with a glove or rag. I'll throw away the leftovers of the weld glue and get back to what really works. Also, wedge welding cannot be applied to a hot surface, it simply evaporates leaving nothing behind.

I'm more of a grinder than a welder. I'm using Flux Core so it's a general mess. When spraying the product I'm working on, the spray is almost completely wiped off with a paper towel. REALLY saves cleaning time. so easy to use - just spray on before welding. Plus, it turns out you don't have to get it wet - just spray the mist and you're done. Getting it wet will give you the same effect, but you'll need more paper towels to clean it up. A friend told me it was just soap and water - who knows -

I've been using a dark inexpensive ONE for a while and got really sick of the stench, sticky feel of sprayed parts and just didn't like things. If you hate removing weld spatter, you'll love it. This is one of the soap-based anti-spatter sprays. I bought this to try in my welding shop as I often do flux cored MIG welding and hate the tremendous amount of time it takes to clean up the ubiquitous spatter. Cleaning takes three times longer than welding. If necessary, spray it lightly on the work surface (welding table) and on the parts to be welded, let them dry and weld.
