According to my experience this industrial power tool is not worth the investment. The power output is low and unreliable, which makes it unsuitable for any heavy-duty welding..

I would give 5 stars but you really need to turn on the heater to get the tip hot enough to work with. I don't know what alloy they were made of, but I suspect they skimped on molybdenum so it wouldn't provide efficient heat transfer. I have other 316L stainless steel tips that are similar in size but different shapes and all work well at normal temperatures.
