I'm a beginner but have so far turned 5 or 6 bowls with it and am very satisfied. It's reliable and easy to use. The only thing that worries me is the minimum amount of documentation. The product description says that the setting can be done with 24 indexes on the back. I have no idea what these settings are and how to set them. The literature attached says that there is more information about the product on the Wen website, but I cannot find such information on the website.

with minor modifications these jaws work well with my Nova G3 chuck. You will need to drill larger mounting holes and use longer screws. I also countersunk the original holes to accommodate the standard conical flat head screw. The m5x12 tapered heads are what I used. You can just drill bigger holes and use M5x16 screws but they will stick out a bit.

However, when I screwed a chuck onto the lathe on my old Atlas 1250 lathe, I found that the chuck would not stop threading onto the headstock until it actually bottomed out on the face of the headstock housing, rather than the shoulder of the threaded connector . . I have encountered the same problem with this cartridge as many other customers. The holes where it attaches to my Nova cartridge are too small. The screws do not go through these holes. I'm disappointed that Wen's company didn't address this issue and continues to sell without fixing the problem. I bought it mainly because of the low price. Since I have a 4" WEN chuck, I assumed this WEN jaw set would fit the chuck properly. no Mounting holes had to be drilled as they were too small for the supplied screws. .
