For a $50 toaster Only toasts 2 slices at a time However I bought it partly for its ease and I don't need to toast more than 2 slices at a time I live alone lol

I like my bar counter style toaster. It makes a good toast and makes me feel like I'm on vacation, staying at a motel that offers free breakfast instead of being stuck at home with a lousy pop-up toaster during the pandemic.

Our old black toaster decided we wanted burnt toast no matter what setting we set it on so I thought I'd buy a product with a history of condition. Surprise surprise. He also has a mind of his own. Two slices of toast are not toasted in the same way. The first slices may be undercooked while the next two are either burnt or just toasted on the top edge. Very very disappointed. Regardless of the type of bread, no two pairs are the same.

Practical great design. The toaster does its job well until the toast falls onto the drip tray underneath. Any toast crumbs will remain in the bowl, but you will not be able to remove them. There is a small ridge on the edges of the tablet. It's hard to clean. When you close the bowl, all the crumbs will fall onto the countertop. If you leave the bowl open, all you can do is use a vacuum or a damp paper towel to pick up any crumbs in the bowl.

I followed the instructions and turned on the toaster with nothing in it. 7, it got hot and I smelled burning oil, then it shut down a little quicker than I thought. So, wanted to toast your bagel, the bagel light won't come on and the toaster won't stay down, it just sends the bagel straight to the floor. A friend in Wyoming had one that we saw and used on a visit to Yellowstone. I thought it was so cool and different - I still think so. Many years ago I bought my first West Bend slide through a toaster on a whim - as it was just me and although I eat quite a bit of toast , but not immediately - I found the toaster interesting.
