Great set of rope lights

We mounted these lights above our living room shelf. They are the perfect ambiance. The only downfall (for our needs) is that they have different modes of flashing and steady on. Because they are up high they are controlled by a dimmer switch on the wall. If you shut the dimmer switch all the way off and turn the lights back on, they flash as that is the default in the control box. The manufacturer needs to set the default in the control box to STEADY ON not flashing. Fortunately we had an old…

Maybe too Bright! - my new review

It was hard to find what I was looking for, purchased these light to replace old ones. I have a glassed in room at the back of the house and I ran these around the ceiling. Now that they are up the lighting itself is up it's a bit like being in a disco. We have the lights on early evening, but you cannot sit out in the room with the lights on. If you are looking for a disco effect these lights would be great.

Very bright. Good service.

Had an issue with the first one I received. These folks promptly replaced it. Very good customer service.One kinda pain in the ass is that you have to push the button several times to skip over the programs. I wish it would just have an on/off option. Still a five star product.

White and Short? for my opinion

I ordered blue lights 25 Feet long, however, I received white lights as in the picture that were not the correct length. But the lights work great in a different spot.

I purchased 2 rope lights for my drive way

I had a portion of one rope light go completely dark the second night it was up. This dark area is at least 36" long and very noticeable. I am very disappointed in the response of my one rope light. Does the manufacturer cover this defective rope light? Please advise. Thankyou

They are not honest about issues with these units.

The control does not come back on in the last setting as they indicate. They shipped out 3 replacement controls, and it's the same problem. Their claim is that they have an improved memory chip in the new control, which is possibly true. (It looks the same). We have opened and rewired 2 of the old units, and 1 of the new replacements. The chip itself may be updated, but there is no internal source for power once the electricity is shut off (via a timer in our scenario) and the units (new…

Dark at xmas for my opinion

Lights were only on for 3 weeks now 4 days until Xmas they stopped working my light display looks horrible there is a lg dark area in my yard I am very upset and cannot get it replaced before Xmas eve I will never buy from this company again

Very bright but. in my review

Pro very bright and early to install and attach a second strand. Unfortunately it appears several of the functions are just missing when pushing the button to choose. Primarily bought for the running function but it seems to be one of the missing ones so we had to go with flashing and fading instead.

Waterproof and good accent lights.

Works the best for me. Lights up my balcony. I like these lights but I cannot keep them working. Here it is Dec 2018 not working dead. Bought them in August return window closed.

Great Purchase for my opinion

These lights are installed on our screened in front porch and the lighting is just right. Not too harsh. The multiple settings is nice; however, we do not like moving/flashing lights so they stay on constantly. We have not had an issue with the lights moving to another setting when turned off as noted in previous reviews. The variation in settings may come in handy for family gatherings or parties at some point. I would recommend to others.

Stopped working after 3rd use

Loved them bit they are dead after using them maybe 4 hours total. Do not buy however the company gave me a full refund The clear tubing may warp or change shape over time, altering the appearance of the lights.

Short Length Lights Perfect

I just wrapped these lights around my driveway light pole. They look beautiful. Looking forward to seeing them when the snow piles up in New England. I really like that I could get a small length of lights - 10 feet is perfect for wrapping around my light pole. All other vendors wanted me to buy 25 or 50 or 100 foot lengths when I only needed a short length.

Quality Customer Service Support.

The lights stopped working less than a month after purchase, go another route if purchasing LED lights. very disappointing.I contacted customer service about my lights not functioning only 30 days after my purchase. They were very quick to respond to my issue and sent a replacement set the next day. I've changed my review from 1 star to 4 star due to their quality customer support.

UPDATE: Seller contacted me regarding issue. Upon submitting a photo of the original light string, was sent a new string. Though I had the same issue, this time I was able to wiggle the rope enough to light the entire string. Kudos to the seller!The last two feet (out of the twenty-five total feet) away from the plug did not light up and I’m two months past the return window. 😡Tested them upon arrival, but did not completely unwind them. They do work. So 3 stars for that. But we cannot use them for their intended purpose because the button that changes the light setting doesn’t work. It’s stuck on combination, and we want them to be steadily on.

Not white lights best in my review

Lights are advertised as being white and that’s what I thought I was getting, however they are actually more of a blue. The flickering and fading modes may be too distracting or irritating for some consumers.

East setup and easy operation

Used this item to add subtle blue light to a birdbath area. It's a nice touch and peaceful atmosphere at night. The lights are not too bright and installation was simple

Great mood lighting.

Used this to wrap a under bar counter. Was the perfect light without being too bright. Only downfall is in order to put it on permanent you have to switch to the constant on position every time it’s turned back on.

Lighting is not evenly distributed, I.e. no 360° illumination.

Was disappointed to find that these lights do not provide 360 degree evenly distributed lighting as you can see in the pics i uploaded, where the light is much brighter from one side. Returning these and restarting my search

Don't buy in my review

Unit was defective upon receiving. Color was more of a yellow than a soft white. Sections of LED's stopped working after about 2 years. Unit did NO retain last flash pattern memory as it claimed and you have to cycle through the patterns until you were on the one you wanted. With my 40+ years in electronic retail and repair, appears this is a company moving defective merchandise through Ebay.
