By and large, despite the abundance of goods, there is nothing to choose from the budget series - Samsung and WD, based on reliability criteria. WD is colder, Samsung is faster. Everyone chooses from personal preferences.

Pros
  • To date, the volume of information and games is growing ruthlessly, so I decided to upgrade my son's PC a little, and took his sn 550 1 tb into my own. I bought it consciously, despite the fact that 2 pcs. 1 Tb would be cheaper. But here thanks to Black Friday on the market and cashback from Tinkoff. The disk fully meets expectations, the declared speeds are confirmed, although they are not really needed right now. But buying a SATA drive will probably not be entirely justified at the end of 2022.
Cons
  • Still too expensive.

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

It's a pity that it's not SLC / MLC NAND (in the description on the MLC market, on the TLC manufacturer's website), but there is a different price tag. And so TLC is also on TLC non-names.

Pros
  • 1) Inserted, transferred the OS with a native utility from WD + Acronis 2) Speed match
Cons
  • Resource 900 TBW, not enough for 2tb TLC. Perhaps they added a limited warranty and they paid it off. When calculating for 5 years, TBW should be ~ 1400-1600.

Perfect product for any user!

I took it to replace the regular SSD in the honor magicbook 16 pro. Got up perfect. The speed is slightly higher than on the native SSD from SAMSUNG.

Pros
  • Nimble. One-sided layout. Cold.

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

It was purchased to replace the regular SK Hynix PC601 512GB in an HP 15s-eq laptop. To do this, it was necessary to copy the contents of the regular disk to a new disk. WD Blue 2Tb was inserted into an external USB case, but it was crookedly defined there and also crookedly activated. I had to put the WD drive on the board, and the standard drive in an external container, and use Acronis True Image to clone the contents of the standard drive to the WD drive. In about an hour, everything was…

Pros
  • 1) fast 2) cold 3) no extra stickers 4) slim, one-sided mounting
Cons
  • 1) not defined in the external USB enclosure (noname) for NVME drives, but here either-or
