One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

While I myself am not a fan of Western Digital products, the vast majority of the drives I have used have been WD, and several of them have served me well for three to five years in continuous operation, including the universally reviled WD Green (now WD Blue).

Pros
  • Read/write speeds greater than 200 MB/s at disk's outset (at 5400 rpm) - Quiet - Cold - CMR - Ability to function in Raid arrays - Guaranteed for 3 Years

Not the best quality, but generally not bad.

3 stars, not 1y, just for the outstanding work of, which I handed over to the point of issue / reception the day before yesterday, and the money was returned to me today.

Pros
  • WD has long been one of my go-to brands for hard drives, but I was completely unprepared for this turn of events. Perhaps it's time to give Toshiba a shot.
Cons
  • I passed away immediately after the formatting was complete, just five minutes later; I had just begun copying the data when I went to click my heads.

How could such a bad product be made?

I carefully wrapped it up, created an RMA (warranty case), and mailed it via CDEK to a WD service center in Hong Kong at the start of October. I was kept in sustenance for two months with assurances of care and a shortage of replacement hard disks, and then the answer came that the drive was destroyed and the warranty was denied. They were willing to either pay to have the brick sent back or dispose of it for me. I used to like WD, but this is just ridiculous.

Pros
  • not locate
Cons
  • After being installed in the computer, the hard disk was functional for only 10 minutes. Once I started transmitting data to it, the transfer rate immediately plummeted to 0 mb/s and intermittent squeaks arose. It was impossible to read Infa, which had signed up for the screw.

I really like WD, I own and owned the green 3tb series, there are 2 red on 4tb, there were and are black 1 tb, blue are many different, two external passports . everything has been working flawlessly for many years, smarts are clean, there have never been problems. . problems were only with the Seagate (there were 3 disks, all failed fairly quickly) and there was 1 Toshiba in the laptop, but the shock sensor worked there repeatedly, problems with the mechanics)

Pros
  • Great drive, cool, quiet, fast for 5400, CMR (not tiled)
Cons
  • Wish it was cheaper

Over the course of more than seven years, a hard disk of the same model, WD Red 3TB, has performed faultlessly. The disc appears to be in outstanding condition, based on the results of the tests conducted thus far. In this particular circumstance as well, there have been no concerns for the past three months. Importantly, WD Red Plus is a fully-fledged duplicate of the older WD Red with CMR, which brings up an interesting aspect. Tiled SMR recording technology is included in the newly released…

Pros
  • Hard drive of exceptional quality and long-term reliability. It's not too loud. The speed is satisfactory. The disk is partitioned in two parts, and the results of their respective speed tests are included in this post.
Cons
  • It is possible that the pricing could be lower.

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

Some advantages: the item was packaged carefully, the blister was sealed, and everything arrived on schedule and in one piece. Con: one of the discs only has a half year left on its 21-year warranty on the site where it was purchased. You can say illiquid

On older boards (for example ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo) with older systems (for example Windows 8.1 x64) it happens that it is detected with a smaller volume (and offers to mark it for a smaller volume). Helps or markup from Windows 7 (10) on a more recent chipset. Or searching for fresh drivers - also helps. The driver from Intel R Chipset SATA RAID Co 11.7.4202201 rst helped me. Although it is about the raid, which I do not have, but after installation the disk size was determined normally, there…

Pros
  • It's too early about the merits, I bought it only 3 months ago. We'll see in a couple of years. Unless - Victoria checked - everything is ok.
Cons
  • Too early about shortcomings.
