Some pros: Great job for 6 years. The disk worked a lot, for the last 2 years it worked 20 hours a day. Cons below: 6 years of work and the end. I don’t know if it’s a lot or a little, but now it stopped working. The computer sees it, but while writing to it, the process freezes and the hard drive turns off.

I have been using it for about five years now, for the entire time of a single failure, the temperature has not risen above 43 (there is no additional cooling). Paired with another WD, it doesn’t vibrate even on cheap cases, it’s pretty quiet (under load, sometimes the crunch characteristic of old models is barely audible. I repeatedly dragged a very reliable one with me to work ! the test condition is perfect, although I drove this disk for the first 3 years to the fullest.
