What a piece of Chinese trash. Embossing was almost non-existent. I grew up in the 1960s and 1970s when handcrafted leather belts were all the rage. was thrown in the trash once rolled out of a machine that made poorly finished products. I'd rather go to antique stores most of the year to find an old belt on sale than lower my standards and wear that belt. I ordered a belt for a 34" waist and received a 6" shorter belt. God, China, is it really that difficult to switch from metric to imperial?

I ordered one for my wife and was so impressed I ordered the same one (in my size of course) and also black. The smell of quality made from leather, but it was the tooling that inspired me to buy two for myself. Nicely done but subtle. I use both western (cowboy) style buckles and regular single prong buckles and swapping them out is literally a snap. The clasps hook and hold securely, but are easy to open.
