Installed them on my 2012 Dodge Durage Citadel and they work great but was quite difficult to install. There are a few holes that you need to drill, but there's no room for a regular drill bit to get the job done. I had to buy a special flex shaft for the drill and still struggled, but they are built in and very sturdy.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons

but look well built.

Step footpeg Steel gauge and welds appear to be of good quality. However, a protective electronics coating or powder is not the best option. The coating on the base steel was fine, but it was poor on the welds. If my wife didn't like the footpegs and wanted to install them, I would return the bracket. If they hold up I'll definitely take them off this spring, sandblast and paint them.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Be prepared to adapt them to the Durango.

Bought this kit for a 2016 Durango. The instructions are terrible. Very, very vague. Had to drill additional holes, increase 2 as they didn't match the OEM hole that had to be used. This kit really isn't designed for this truck. They warn you that it may not fit due to the truck's floor paneling. But that's their way of not having to re-do the kit for the new 2013-up Durangos. I had to drill 4 new holes to extend the board on the outside of the truck to make the fairing (tipper panel) fit. The…

Westin 27-1645 was recommended for my 2012

Westin 27-1645 was recommended for my 2012, I got it for Cherokee/Durango. They didn't fit. I then ordered the "Proper" mounting kit 27-1645, which was also recommended for my 2012 Tahoe. It came on the driver's side but not the passenger side. The brake lines drain on this side and the brackets will not fit. These are the correct mounts that each company recommends, but they do not fit the passenger side. Westin said they've never had a problem. I took it to a professional accessory…

Works as expected, difficult to install

These brackets for the 2012 Durango Crew are a bit difficult to install. The two rear brackets require you to drill through the sheet steel of the landing gear to create two more holes from scratch, but if you have lower plastic fairings like I do, you'll find that drilling those two holes is a pain in the neck is . Literally. Once all the holes for the bracket are drilled and prepared, the rear brackets will also be about 1/8 inch shorter, leading to a very tricky alignment issue with the…
