Did the job with ceiling fans and accessories

I thought I'd get a long chain that could be shortened. I didn't read the description so I now have a pack of extra 36" chains (several). Used to increase fan thrust due to very high ceilings and old 3 wire wiring so separate controls for fans and lights could not be made.

Pros
  • Pair with ceiling fan or light
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Exactly what we needed!

This was exactly what I needed. I'm short and the ceiling fans are big and I had to stand on tiptoe to reach the pole. At 3 feet long, they were longer than we needed, but we easily cut them in half with scissors. I bought a box of 6 so we can extend all of the ceiling fan arms!

Pros
  • Use connectors to form a handle or chain extension
Cons
  • Volume

Worked very well! best in pull chains

Works very well with my ceiling fans that I have on very high ceilings. It can be cut to the length you want, which is very convenient. It was a little tricky fitting it into the existing circuit connector, but using a small screwdriver I opened my connector up a bit and it snapped straight into place. For the price I would recommend attaching them to your existing shorter chain as they don't have a handle on the end. Grab the end when you pull the chain.

Pros
  • Replacing a broken or obsolete pull chain
Cons
  • There are cons
