Great gift for the father-in-law who has everything!

I bought this kitchen cut as a present for my father-in-law who has everything. We chose this one because it wasn't too big and had a lot of positive feedback from others. Haven't used it but seen it and it works as described. He was very happy with it and I'm 100% sure he would have told us if he wasn't happy with it. I don't recommend you to buy this.

I don't think you should buy this. Arrived about a week ago. When I opened it, I immediately noticed that it has a serrated blade, although the packaging and instructions for use specifically state that it has a smooth blade. No, the blade is serrated. I tested it tonight by slicing up a turkey breast. It's good at 5 (millimeters, I think that's the unit of measure) and up. I bought this for my friend who loves to cook and prepares some of the best cured meats to cut up leftovers for sandwiches. Also, we buy blocks of cheese from Costco and wanted to try slicing them. I've reviewed most slicers on Revain and other sites. Since it was going to cut smoked meats, I wanted a bigger blade.
