Wet Brush Original Wholehearted Detangling Review

Wet Brush is the only brand of brush I can use on my 4 year old twins hair without screaming, crying or hurting myself. Since her hair is medium length, it needs a LOT of brushing! So when I saw that they were making wet brushes with princesses on them, I knew we were going to need them. First I bought Ariel because I am a mom and she is my favorite princess. But I guess I'll be sharing it with my kids (who I've since ordered the Jasmine and Belle comb for.) :)

I like long hair but it is very thick and difficult to manage at this length. I probably bought the Kohl's Tangled Wetbrush about a year ago because I love Disney and thought they were cute, but I quickly realized that this is simply the best brush I've ever owned. I don't know what makes it so special that it cuts through my tangles like a hot knife through butter, but that's exactly what it does. Why didn't I know that since I was a child? They look like a regular comb but claim to have intelligent bristles. Daisy and I used one each and decided never to use our old combs and brushes again. Hair feels dry and difficult to detangle. Mine stretches and tears when wet. We've used it both wet and dry and it just keeps sliding on. She even sat down and brushed her hair fifteen minutes after it was as smooth as silk.

The best comb for my fine, wavy, very tangle free hair. I've tried many brushes and got one as a gift a few years ago, couldn't believe the difference it made to mats. It broke after a while and I got one that claimed similar capabilities but wasn't nearly as good, it took years to unravel. And this one broke so I bought another one and now I'm adamant I won't try anything else. Works on wet and dry hair. And Olaf is just the icing on the cake.

I've been using a wide tooth comb for years because I lose a lot of hair with traditional brushes. I had read about the wet brush in an Aquis hair towel review so I searched for Revain and when I saw they had the Ariel design I couldn't click the buy now button fast enough. This comb works just as well as my first wet brush and detangles hair with virtually no pain. Although the handle is the same shape as mine with the detachable mirror, it's a lot flatter. So it's kind of weird to hold on. I don't know if a kid using it will have the same problem? But somehow it's weird to hold it with my hands when combing my hair.
