Finally put on one of my old shirts and found the product useful. I like the look of the white button; although covered with a tie. I was a bit tight for this particular shirt and the extension cord saved me.

Should have a small piece of fabric or ribbon on the strap and then an elastic loop. Move and rotate buttons. My collars aren't very comfortable, I just don't like the feel of a buttoned collar. I have to make sure I'm good at Windsor and I have to hide the twisted button. I don't see much visual difference in appearance unless I button my collar before buttoning my tie.

For those who waited until the last minute before the wedding - no need to buy a new formal shirt - they are better because the button-down collar is not yields and they are elastic. (I'm speaking as someone who has used similar key extensions in the past. I'll admit I haven't tried them yet. I'm writing this review due to numerous requests and I really can't drop everything and make a physical adjustment right now. ) I recommend these extension cords unconditionally.

While they technically do what they're supposed to, they're VERY difficult to button. The back is very wide, making it difficult to thread the top button. There is no "play" as there is with a regular button. It took me a lot of tries to get this thing to work, even with both packaging methods. This product needs to be redesigned with a much smaller rear end to be user friendly. I had to order a top button collar tool to get them working.

I have a few favorite shirts that have shrunk in the dryer. This, along with the extra ten pounds, made them impossible to wear with a tie. Guess what? Now I can wear them again. These collar extenders work. The only caveat is that if they're not attached, they can slip off the button and fall to the ground. It would be easy to lose one if you weren't careful. Good product. One of my favorite shirts is now back in my closet.
