Exceeded expectations

We bought this to help with the two tier transition from kitchen to living room. My wife uses it regularly and loves it. I thought it might help but she uses it more than I thought.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Little things

Tough and stylish, the best in sailing and watersports

A great design choice when you need a secure grip. We have installed ours - we bought three - in places in the house where there is only a step between two rooms, or in the hallway. The wood has a smooth finish and the style blends in perfectly with almost any decor.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Attractive handrail for elderly using stairs

This handrail was placed vertically at the top of the stairs where my elderly mother was looking for support for the last flight of stairs without handrails. The handrail is the same color as the wooden railing, so the aesthetics are perfect too.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Updates

Marine lights move safely indoors.

We wanted to add some security features to my elderly parents' house. There were places on her stairs where you had to hold on with your hand where the banister ended. They are incredibly demanding about the look of their home. You were perfect. They use them every time and they are much safer now.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • minor issues

Just what I need for boating and sailing

This is a particularly high level in our entry. That's great! You just need something to hold on to and that helps. It's durable, went up in a minute and does the job! I'm still thinking about painting. It looks good the way it is. Sometimes we need a little help as we get older. It is well made and inexpensive.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Sturdy and Beautiful: Rowing and Sailing

Love the size and finish and like others I have used them as safety handles for the elderly in places where falls sometimes occur such as stairs before You reach the railing and get into the bathroom. Combined with long screws in jambs, window frames or other structural elements, they are perfect for my needs.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Perfect solution for the top of the stairs

Like other reviewers, I bought this to place at the top of the stairs for my mum to hold on to. Goes great with railings. This is exactly what I wanted and what she needs. But I had to ask. Who still supplies slotted screws? Luckily the description said mounting hardware was not included so I expected to use my own screws (Phillips). Just thought it was funny

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some issues

The teak handle is nice but the hardware is old

I installed this by my front door to help people up the stairs to my house. The teak handle is beautiful, well made, I've had it for a few months now. The only drawback was the installation. The included screws look like they're metal, but they're actually plastic with a metal-look finish. Both screws broke when installed in a relatively soft wooden door frame. Luckily we had other screws on hand.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Available in white only

We used it in our house not on the boat. We placed it at the top of a steep set of stairs at elbow height on the left so we could get a little hold on going down those stairs (before we can reach the handrails on the right). ). We are very happy with it. The handle is beautiful and durable. The installation only took a few minutes.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Not the best
