Whiteside Router Bits 1408 Diameter Review

Whiteside makes the best parts. Period. Won't burn solid maple wood, even with a 200-pound gorilla on the other end of the router.

This bit works very well. I ran 30 linear feet of cottonwood over half its cutting length. I used a moderate to slow feed rate and got a fairly smooth finish. There was no sign of burns or torn grain. I am very happy with my purchase and would have no hesitation in purchasing another Whiteside drill.

Well, looks like you really do get what you pay for. I cut the sap grooves with a cheap core box cutter that came with the starter kit. All of my grooves were burned and were very painful to grind. I decided to try the Whiteside Beats based on YouTuber recommendations. I just cut my first groove with a new cutter, not a single burn mark. I will never buy cheap beats again!
