FITS 2011 MAC AIR LAPTOP

Perfect for 2011 Mac Air 11" laptop. I was missing 4 screws and was able to replace them in less than a few minutes with no problems. Note: There are 2 long screws in this package I don't know why or what for but I couldn't use the longer of the 2 sizes, only the smaller one. There were only 4 smaller sizes in my package. The bottom of my laptop was open causing my trackpad to malfunction. Now it's completely closed and everything works fine.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Ideal! Computer Components

After confirming the Phillips head screws were there, I checked again and found they weren't. ). I'm pretty sure a screw came out due to too many computer crashes. I carefully tightened the remaining screws, bought rubber feet for two of them that came loose and I'm very, very satisfied. So!

  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons

Product works as described

Nothing to say except that both the screws and driver included in this kit worked perfectly on my mid 2015 15" MacBook Pro. I have no idea why some people complain about the screws not fitting or why they complain about the tool sucks / she didn't do two other screws after they replaced my battery as part of an Apple battery recall. This way too leaving was MUCH BETTER and EASIER than going back to the apple store which was supposed to be a giant PITA no thanks the stupid apple procedures.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Nice magnetic p5 for MacBook Pro

I wanted to clean my fans in my laptop as it was out of warranty anyway. The little Philips didn't work, so I got a specific screwdriver. I figured the magnet wouldn't make much of a difference, but it made it so much easier since the screws are VERY small. The screwdriver wears out a bit, but I can definitely use it again. If you want to do it every day or very often, look for something better. but this one can definitely be used many times. It was also very easy to remove stripped screws from

Works well if treated properly.

I have a 2013 MacBook Pro and a year or two ago the 1.2mm (very small) screws on the bottom started to loosen and one even fell out. I bought this screwdriver after reading a number of reviews of similar tools. I noticed that most of the tools have high ratings even though 10-15% of the ratings are 1 star. Most of these 1 star reviews complained that the item failed due to tip detachment. I ended up using the Whizzotech tool and can say the errors are due to too much torque. Due to the small…
