Product works as described

Nothing else to say other than that both the screws and the driver included in this kit worked perfectly on my 15" MacBook Pro from mid 2015. I have no idea why some people are complaining about the screws not matching or why they are complaining about the tool sucks like he/she didn't do on the other two screws after replacing my battery as part of an apple Going that route was MUCH BETTER and EASIER than going back to the Apple Store, which was supposed to be a giant PITA, thanks to Apple'sโ€ฆ

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Easy do-it-yourself technology

Because my kids kept banging my MacBook on tables, the bottom was loose. At first I thought I'd have to go to the Apple Store for a solution, but I didn't want to pay a hefty fee. Just a couple of google searches showed I needed screws and there were more than enough. Enough screws in case the problem comes up again and they are ridiculously easy to screw in which saved me a lot of money and wasted time.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I'll add later

Came with a single screw that still doesn't fit

A bit pissed that the bag the screwdriver and screw came in had a hole in it. be 10) was not stainless steel and did not have a suitable thread for the A1398 MBPS. See picture, the bag was undamaged, for some stupid reason it must have had a hole.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Has issues

Ideal! Computer Components

After confirming the screws were Phillips I checked again and found they weren't. For others). I'm pretty sure a screw came out due to too many computer crashes. I carefully tightened the remaining screws, bought rubber feet for two of them that came loose and I'm very, very satisfied. Super fast shipping too!

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • Not sure

FITS 2011 MAC AIR LAPTOP

Perfectly fits 2011 Mac Air 11" laptop. I was missing 4 screws and was able to replace them in less than a couple of minutes with no problems. .One note: there are 2 screw lengths in this package. I don't know why or what for but I couldn't use the longer of the 2 sizes, only the smaller one. There were only 4 smaller sizes in my package. The bottom of my laptop was open causing my trackpad to malfunction. Now it is fully closed and everything works fine.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Good magnetic p5 for MacBook Pro

I wanted to clean my fans in my laptop as the warranty was ending anyway. The little Philips didn't work, so I got a specific screwdriver. I figured the magnet wouldn't make much of a difference, but it made it so much easier since the screws are VERY small. The screwdriver wears out a bit, but I can definitely use it again. If you want to do it every day or very often, look for something better. but this one can definitely be used many times. It was also very easy to remove stripped screwsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Computer screws
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Works well if treated properly.

I have a 2013 MacBook Pro, a year or two ago the 1.2mm screws (very small) on the bottom started loosening and one even fell out. I bought this screwdriver after reading a number of reviews of similar tools. I noticed that most of the tools have high ratings even though 10-15% of the ratings are 1 star. Most of these 1 star reviews complained that the item failed due to tip detachment. I ended up using the Whizzotech tool and can say the errors are due to too much torque. Due to the small sizeโ€ฆ
