Type of review

For several years I lived with a wire from the router to the next room. Speed ~90 Mb/s. Tired of the wire on the floor, took without looking TP-LINK TL-WN851ND. This is a card with 2 n and 2.4GHz antennas. I was horrified - the speed is 1Mb / s. Well, the price is right. Bought this device. I did not install firewood from the disk - I downloaded fresh ones right away. First, I put the horns on the system unit under the table. Speed at 5GHz - 30 Mb / s. Raised the horns on the table - go…

Pros
  • The quality of the connection, the quality of the materials, I inserted it, downloaded firewood and went (I have Ethernet and downloaded fresh firewood right away, I didn’t install it from the disk).
Cons
  • Antenna wiring is short

A terrible product, not satisfied with the purchase at all!

I took TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 as a replacement - I thought the reception would be better (I took the computer out to the balcony), in conjunction with ASUS RT-N66U, TP-LINK has a connection speed of 450, PCE-AC68 has a maximum of 320 Mbps. I bought a remote antenna for TP-LINK for 3000 .

Unsatisfactory quality, I will not buy this again.

I bought it as a replacement for wires for a computer. Installed without problems, works great. But, at one point, the system stops seeing the network adapter. Only turning off the computer helps. Has some pros: Good packaging, excellent equipment and workmanship. Good speed. Got cons: 1. Price! 2. Periodically falls off, the system stops seeing the device. Powering off the computer for 5 minutes helps. This shortcoming completely devalues all the advantages.

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Awesome adapter! Compared to the Asus USB-56AC that stood before it and constantly lost the network, this is heaven and earth. Like a Cossack and a plane :) Different pros: In conjunction with the Asus RT-AC68 router, through several walls at a decent distance, it calmly holds 1300 mbit / s. The wires are resting)) Different cons: Of the minuses, only the wires sticking out behind the case . although they do not bother me at all.

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

It is in ASUS Maximus Formula VIII motherboards, of course there is Bluetooth and WiFi, BUT - on macOS, only bluetooth was determined, and so as not to bother, I decided to purchase this device! ) I got up like a native out of the box, it works with a bang! I recommend autumn to everyone who collects Hackintosh!

Good product for me, I was satisfied with the price.

In addition to this LED, I would also note the shortish cables at the antennas, but this was not important to me. It is very convenient that the antenna stand has a magnetic base. Pros: Excellent device, I'm completely satisfied with the functionality With its cons: LED, Blue LED, when I read the reviews of others, I did not understand how much it could infuriate. Actually this LED is the reason why I am writing this review. There is no shutdown in the settings, only a patch will help you. It…

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

In general, a good device for your money. Let's see how long it lasts) Pros: It does not take up much space in the system unit. I installed it next to the video card - I did not notice the overheating of the latter. The speed is good. The router is 5 meters away + a plastic window as a barrier - it gives 355 Mbit per download out of 500 possible on the line. Well, it also depends on the router, of course. In general, I'm ok. Different cons: Some swear at the driver, but apparently I was lucky…

The adapter is great. If it is installed in the upper slot, and the process heatsink is large (like mine), then it gets into grinding. With software, something incomprehensible . Pros: From the router to the system unit 8-10 meters through two concrete walls. The sistemnik stands on the floor, closed by a table and a bedside table. Speed 450 Mbps. Cons below: I have Win7 64 (license). All software for the adapter is downloaded from the Asus website. BUT! On Win7, only the driver got up. The…

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

Works in conjunction with AC66U, +-4 meters to the router, 2 main walls. The speed in the utility is 195Mbps, the real speed corresponds to the maximum speed of the tariff plan (65Mb / 75Mb). A hard drive is connected to the router - data transfer rate + - 7 MB (USB 2.0) I think this bundle is almost ideal for those who want to completely move away from wired Internet.

Pros
  • Appearance Transfer rate Long term use
Cons
  • Price - a bundle will cost about 9000

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

I use Linux. Problems with the stability of the connection, breaks every 1.5 minutes. On Windows with stability, everything is normal, but with the speed of the problem, you can’t squeeze more than 30.

The product is average, Im not sure its worth the money.

Someone wrote that you can not install only the driver without the program. Can. You stick the card, put the disk in, run the driver installation from under the device manager. Everything is fine. Windows 7 64 The problem is different. Either it was a marriage, or the settings were skewed - after installation it perfectly connected to 5g, but after 15 minutes it hung the computer tightly, and after rebooting it no longer connects to the 5 g network for completely incomprehensible reasons. The…

Pros
  • Futuristic remote antennas on a magnetic base.
Cons
  • Price. 5g not working. Lack of normal support, stupid software, lack of information

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

It's funny to see in the "Network Sharing Center ." wireless connection 1.3 Gb / s, and Ethernet 1 Gb / s. USB-AC56 at 5GHz constantly fell off under the same conditions . With its pros. Actually 1300Mbps (in the utility and in Win7). Through a concrete wall 5 m to the router. File transfer speed from home NAS ~ 35 MB / s (including HDD on both sides). With its cons. 1. Cable length for external antennas <1m(3ft?). Don't put your computer under the table. I tried a 3-meter extension cable…

Tired of the wires from the hospital, I decided to take an adapter. Internet speed has increased phenomenally. Download / upload speed 500/520 Mb / s according to the results of the speedtest. It only upsets the disgusting firmware for the adapter. The out of the box version is outdated, but it works. The version from the Asus website is new, but does not work (personally, after installing it, the adapter loses the 5Hhz network, it is solved by deleting the software and using the built-in…

Pros
  • Minimum wires, great internet speed
Cons
  • Firmware from Asus Stone Age

A good and high-quality product, but there are disadvantages.

OS - W10x64 Router - D-Link Dir-825 It is not clear why the latest firewood does not run the configuration utility. And the firewood from the CD is included, even from 2022 it works fine. For those who do not see the 5G network, go to the router settings and in the 5G band settings, force different channels until the adapter sees the network. I caught it on channel 44.

Pros
  • Clear and powerful signal even from under the table without external antennas. Easy to install
Cons
  • Clumsy drivers and utility. Expensive

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Has pros: Windows 10 has been working awesome for 3 years, I forgot what the wires are, the only thing you need for this machine is a good router from Asus, then there will definitely be no problems, well, maybe 1 break in 3 years of active use was. Its cons: Software from the official website of the driver only works with the very first version "2088" with them, a proprietary utility for diagnosing and configuring the network is launched with the other versions of the utility not at all :*(som

It functions perfectly, nothing unusual.

Worked on Windows 7, now on Windows 10 I bought in 2022, in a 2022 box. The region should be normal, the channels should also be open. With the inherent software limitations, the piece of iron is not worth buying. The lower 5GHz channels are now occupied by all sorts of MGTSs, in the rest the device does not work. Conclusion: The price of the device is 1000, not 5000.

Pros
  • In the 2.4GHz band, it works well and is stable if it is clean. But where it is clean, there is no need to overpay for 5GHz.
Cons
  • At 5GHz, it only accepts in the lowest range, around channel 42. It does not take channels above, although in 2022 everything is allowed from 32 to 68 and from 132-165. The problem is firewood and software blocking due to the region. On the Internet, many people suffer with this device precisely because of regional restrictions. Mostly Europeans suffer, but they have much fewer allowed channels, and ASUS left them only the lower range. For what to suffer the 2022s do not understand. With the help of left unsigned drivers, people manage to make ASUS PCE-AC68 work in all ranges, but installing left unsigned drivers is a dubious decision.

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

Initially, at the point where I put the antenna there was a signal: -50 -60 Dbm when measured from the phone through the program. When measured from a PC via Acrilic with an installed antenna, the signal is -45 -50 Dbm, which is very good. Some pros: For those who need a wi-fi adapter, the solution is right TOP. A good solution with an antenna that can be moved to the top of the case or magnetized to a table / whiteboard. I have an asus ac68u router across a thick brick wall at the other end of

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly what I wanted, but basically everything is fine.

It's a good device, it works, but the price is too high. Got pros: -works on both *nix and win(7/8/10) - the real speed, to put it mildly, differs from the marketing one, it shows a connection of 1 Gb / s, however, copying to the home file dump occurs at a speed of 70-93 Mb / s (that is, 0.56-1 Gb / s). as long as you don't download anything from the internet and so 40-50 Mb / s (i. E. 320-400 Mb / s) speeds in * nix and Win - turned out to be the same. -Works correctly in all ranges. Its…
