A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Last year, I changed the Archer C1200 router to AX73 aka 5400, and the repeater remained the same TL-WA855RE. It only supported a 2.4GHz network and on devices I constantly had to switch wifi between the router and the repeater, choosing either speed or signal strength. I decided to put an end to this, so that there was a stable and fast 5GHz wifi throughout the apartment. Looking ahead, I’ll say right away that this repeater coped with the task! In far rooms, where with the old repeater it was

Pros
  • + features and capabilities of the device, support for Wi-Fi 6 and OneMesh + simplicity and ease of setup, good UI + design, plug-in socket does not require an adapter
Cons
  • - antennas do not move apart (only up and down) - price

It is of good quality, but I won't buy it again.

We can say an expensive toy, for those who like to brag about the price. What pleases, it works stably, the Internet does not fall off. Who has Internet over 100Mbit, I do not recommend taking it, do not squeeze the maximum for the current moment. The product is new - perhaps in half a year tplink will screw something into the settings, if the hardware allows.

Pros
  • - small size - firmly fixed in the outlet -does not get very hot - the ability to turn off the diodes in the night mode - high-quality plastics, something to break - it will be necessary with effort.
Cons
  • I considered this device as a repeater in the first place, I didn’t want to pull wires throughout the apartment, but I ran into a number of problems: 1. Wired mode (LAN to WiFi conversion) - one port, it is also an input or output depending on the operating mode, which is cool - a strong signal at a distance of 5 meters gives the initial speed from the router, then the speed drops, at a distance of 7-8 meters 100 Mbps maximum, at a distance of 10 meters - 20 Mbps maximum. 2 walls at a distance of 8 meters does not break through. 2. Repeater mode - installation in a socket, the maximum distance is 5-8 meters from the router, the maximum speed from such a distance is 100 Mbps, over this distance the red light comes on - a weak signal, and of course there is no connection. All settings of this device are carried out almost automatically, the interface is poor without the ability to adjust the network type "AX" (Wi-Fi 6), channel, frequency in this firmware version. Speed mode - i. E. receiving a signal at one frequency, distributing it at another frequency - it's not worth the candle, the signal level does not increase, nor the speed, nor vice versa. (2->5, 5->2)

Excellent product, the best quality.

Good Wi-Fi coverage extender. Immediately ated the firmware out of the box and works flawlessly. I use it in tandem with the Archer MR600 router with One MESH technology.

Pros
  • Works well.
Cons
  • Expensive.

I think Vanmeh is marketing, I ume that this technology only syncs the settings, pword and name of the Wi-Fi network. At the software level, everything just changes at the same time. But in fact, it simply duplicates the network with the same name in different channels. Because there are devices that see 2 networks with the same name according to reviews from the Internet :) Perhaps this is a fake :) Therefore, you can not bathe and stick it into the LAN (whose lan is stretched to another zone)

Pros
  • Powerful, compact and reliable 2in1 single Wifi6 device without any extra. And not expensive. Works for me with ax90. 2 operating modes: 1. Vanmeh through wifi and lan-hole as a bridge to continue the LAN network further. or 2. Ordinary hotspot with Wifi6. (LAN as input from the main router)
Cons
  • You can't make a OneMesh seamless by plugging it into a LAN in another room. "Seamless" only from Wifi to Wifi. I think this is not possible at the level of physics, and not because of the laziness of TPLink.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

In general, if youcomnsider that this is a repeater with top characteristics, then everything falls into place. It has everything you need: mesh (Icomnsider it critical for repeaters), by the way, it works well with SmartConnect, stable speeds on both channels, installation in a socket, Wifi6 support. Of the minuses: that very installation in the outlet was probably made for a different format, because it does not hold very securely. Also, as in the main AX90 router with which this device is…

Pros
  • 1. Easy to set up out of the box 2. Characteristics 3. Work stability 4. Coverage range 5. WiFi 6 6. A good application for an undemanding user.
Cons
  • 1. Fork format 2. Interface flaws

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

RE605X, like all OneMesh technology from TP-Link, does not officially support a wired connection method. But "unofficially" the wired Backhaul has been running for months with no problems. So, in simple configurations, this trick is quite possible to try, but we must remember that with an increase in the number of extenders or, for example, some kind of broadcast traffic appears, a network storm can still bring down the entire network.

Pros
  • 1. Excellent coverage area. 2. Support for WiFi 6 technologies. 3. Powerful, fast, cool and stable. 4. Easy to set up OneMesh. 5. Convenient, automatic and almost instantaneous switching between devices in a single OneMesh network. 6. Does not virtualize or spoof clients' MAC addresses.
Cons
  • 1. No support for WPA3. 2. It is desirable that the region of the router and the extender match. 3. Wired Backhaul is not officially supported yet 4. Price - like a router.

Good value for money, I recommend.

Of course, the coverage has become better in the apartment, but I expected more speed. If I had known about the speed in advance, I would have bought another repeater. In the photo, the speed when connecting to a router and a repeater. I carried out the tests several times, created the same conditions, even measured exactly at the place where the repeater stands - all the same, the speed on the router is 2-3 times higher.

Pros
  • Compact, not very expensive, good design, easy to set up.
Cons
  • I expected a completely different speed. He barely gives out 200 mbps. There was no seamless network, of course, without otherlink equipment.
