Not made in USA in jar

These jars will work for my homemade pickles, but they aren't made in the USA like I thought. Next time I'll read the fine print.

  • Mason's improved lidded jars are self-closing for perfect airtightness and sealing. The metal lid is lined with plastisol to prevent rust and rot. The products they contain have a longer shelf life and taste fresher.

They are packed very well.

They were packaged very well, with foam at the top and bottom, with cut outs to separate the cans. The only reason I took off a star was because the tin can lids appear very flimsy.

Great Value for Mason Wide Mouth Vacuum Seal Jars

later I've been waiting for the price of these wide mouth jars to come down so I can use them with my vacuum capping machine. I use them for sauces, pet food, absolutely anything I want to open frequently to use portions. During COVID prices have been astronomical due to demand. I thought that demand for products drives prices down, but I think greed is primarily associated with the maker/seller. Nicely packaged and of course AMAZON always delivers on time!
