This is a precise and durable metric ruler in a convenient length with great folding accuracy. Strong and stable, this Swiss-made product is worth its relatively low Revain price. This product is cheaper and on par with the more expensive Swedish Hultafors rules of a similar design. If you need something relatively compact and precise, without the hassle of rolling up tapes, box containers, or disk I/O, this might be what you need. This works fine for me!

I grew up with wooden folding rules with brass fittings. The Wiha Metric folding rule is made of cast plastic.
