🔧 Wiha 71397 Hex Metric Insert Bit Set - 2.0 to 6.0mm - 6-Piece Review

I do not like that the picture does not reflect what I received. No longer made in Germany. The bit indicator is stamped, not laser engraved. The embossing looks cheap and differs in font size from bit to bit, like regular Chinese. I contacted Wiha about this and they said yes, this is what they should look like.

These bits are amazing. Whia always builds great instruments! The problem I always run into is that cheap tools will round off after a while, and if you try to pull out a screw and your cutter rounds out, you'll just round off the screw. out. Be careful though because if you break it in the screw because it is hardened it will be difficult to drill out. But if you need a precise fit every time, this is the way to go!

Now I only buy Wiha bits. Initially I bought them on the recommendation of a small screw knife forum, which I removed with typical branded nuts from a big store. I bought these for the 2mm and 2.5mm bits that seem to be so popular on my Traxxas Slash RC car. I can put this in a hand/ratchet screwdriver or use it in my 12v Bosch screwdriver for quick but controlled screw removal and replacement. They fit snugly (but not very tightly) onto the hex head bolts on my Arrma Kraton 6S RC truck. I bought these specifically for use on RC cars and so far they are working very well.
