These are amazing lights, I only connected them as a brake light - they will attract attention. I am attaching photos, the strips are really thin but very light. I have 1 attached to my license plate and 2 to my trunk. Very satisfied with the quality, performance and price!

They are very BRIGHT and seem to work well. The only complaints I have are 1) The wires come out the end of the unit making them difficult to disguise. 2) It's a very thin wire. Also tape is NOT 3M from Dupont*. Possibly a Japanese M3 brand. and one last thing, they didn't seem to seal the end caps too well but it made it easy for me to modify the unit and route the wires from underneath and reseal with PERMATEX silicone glue. Overall damn happy.

I have used this light on my Yamaha 78 tracker project for most of the summer and have had no problems. Installation and placement is up to you and this light will take care of the rest. My husband bought this to add some light to the back of his chopper project. We immediately noticed that the wires are very thin and fragile. Rather than risk the tape and connectors coming loose, we opted to solder the connections together. The fact is that the cables coming from the headlight are so short that these connections had to be routed through a cable duct on the inside of the rear fender. I really wanted this light to love her and still love her, but god those wires are thinner than angel hair spaghetti. "16 gauge pins" should refer to the entire sheath of the wires since the wires themselves are 24 gauge at best. I hope you have good wire strippers or you'll break at least one of those wires trying to strip the insulation.
