Bad guinea pig product

Shame on Wild Harvest for advertising the guinea pig wheel. Guinea pigs should NEVER have a running wheel in a cage. Your spikes are not designed for this.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Doubtful

Hamsters love it!

Our hamster runs all night and it's great! All metal wheels seem to creak. Putting vegetable oil where the wheel turns will work without harming the animal.

Pros
  • Always liked it
Cons
  • Little things

Fine for what I wanted for

Received this as a toy for our lovebirds. In fact, it attaches well to the cage. But it creaks a lot. Also, the pain went away too quickly in my opinion. Nevertheless, lovers like to swing in it. So while they have fun ;)

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Damaged

Never: Running wheels

Never give a small pet a wire/trellis wheel. In fact, you cannot buy them in many countries because they are unsafe. They can cause feet, break legs and rip off toes. The vet would tell you to get rid of it immediately. People have been trying to get these wheels off the market for years. Please do your own research and do not listen to the pet store staff. For your pet's safety and general well-being, purchase a plastic wheel with no holes or slots in the tread.

Pros
  • Hard wearing surface
Cons
  • Something is wrong
