Not Heavy Duty

If you are using these Wilton vise for home use they are perfect. It's really not intended for production environments.

Made in the USA? although it works

good vise, it doesn't say made in the usa, some in the store do, some don't, don't you know what's up with wilton? works perfectly

You get what you pay for

This is a really good vise. I don't think I'll ever need one again. The last vise broke like a hollow Easter bunny. I see it on sale for $80. Don't buy cheap vices.

Excellent vise, the best in a hand tool

If you're looking for a vise, spend a few extra dollars and buy something that will never break or wear out. I've been using a Wilton vise for years, I've fitted three service centers with this product and I've never had a problem, although twenty mechanics can jump on it, so I've fitted my own workshop with this vise.

great vise so far

I bought this the other day, I was a little worried about what I would get as the picture above does not match the manufacturer's pictures. Got exactly what I was hoping for, Wilton 6" Blue Gray Mechanical Vise. Added pic in case anyone is still concerned. Other than that, this is a great vise so far. Nothing is a problem. Not sure, if you will find something better for the price.

Most will pass this vice on to their children. Seriously, this is going to take forever for normal in-store use.

One-piece vise. The only downside that one can understand with leverage is that the stops are not symmetrical. Very minor inconveniences. Fully enclosed vise, interchangeable jaws, etc. This vise will do whatever you need it to do. Holds torches, solvents, shocks well and ensures smooth operation. Don't skimp on a crappy vise and spend more money later. Buy a Wilton and that's it.
