This is normal and not recommended for beginners or the impatient.

Loom works the way you want it, but without end pins, with awkward placement of support pins and notches under edge pins, it can be difficult to knit on. The rivets come off too easily when not in use, but I've never seen a rivet come off while knitting. Best at low tension

I used a 22 inch Kifty Knitter, CinDWood Crafts looms and a Boye Square Loom. All three looms have both advantages and disadvantages when it comes to their use. Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

This step is completely skipped in the instructions. Also, the instruction photos show an end pin that is not present on this unit. You could probably just tie the end of the yarn…

  • This is great
