cute and funny! for baking molds

This mold can be used to make candy spoons with homemade cocoa mixture as small Christmas presents. The shape was pretty easy to use and the spoons held together pretty well. Definitely fun!

Pros
  • in stock
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works well with a bit of tweaking

Works much better if you melt the candy in a spouted cup and pour it out instead of trying to melt the pieces in the molds. This method did not work at all - she burned out and grew fat.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

I love these silicone molds for chocolate

I love these molds for making chocolate spoons. The silicone makes it easy to remove the candy and cleans well. The chocolate spoons hold up well and make a wonderful gift for coffee and hot chocolate lovers.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • little things

Easy to clean. - Bakeware

I am giving this review a 5 because I am not a professional baker or artist. So, of course, my spoons don't turn out like everyone else's. I love these things. However, they are not as easy to use as you might think! They tend to make a big mess at the end and due to the design the spoons break easily when trying to get the chocolate out of the moulds. You have to be VERY careful.

Cute and dainty, good for candy making

In the meantime, I'm working on improving my technique. I have a hard time getting smooth, perfect smoothness out of the mold. I believe this is due to my lack of experience with chocolate molds. I wish the form was a bit more flexible. It's quite stiff compared to other silicone molds I've used, which I think could help break some of the spoons when I take them out. The spoons are a cute little size and I've had positive feedback on my chocolate spoons that I gave away for Christmas.

Harder than I thought.

I had a hard time finding a candy that worked well. As suggested, chocolate was not a good choice for my application. I finally found red and white mint lollipops that were ok. And I managed to get the red cinnamon sticks to work pretty well, but I wanted nice red and white striped spoons. I was finally able to get 7 good gift exchange spoons, but I spent a lot of candy first. Others may get better results. I WANT it to work well. I'm not giving up yet!

Pros
  • good thing

An amazing way to make adorable, delicious treats!

Fantastic shape! I bought this because of a treat I saw on Pinterest. I wanted to be one of those awesome parents who make Christmas treats for their kids in the classroom with their own hands! :-D So I ordered this bad boy and was looking forward to it. I used those striped mints that you can find at any doctor's office or waiting room. I put them in a ziplock and shredded them, poured them into molds and baked them in the oven. Now, due to the shape of the molds and the thin handles, I had to
