So at 1st I was seeing why everyone was saying the buttons were not responsive so when yo lay the phone in the bottom case make sure your side buttons are clicking sometime the little rubber pieces aren't making contact with the buttons so test that out 1st before snapping the top piece on cause it's a tough cookie to get off once on.
