Good product except the control board is loose and needs to be removed and weatherproofed better with silicone. Otherwise it works great

Swapped the wiper motor on a 1998 Suburban, for the price if I run 2 years I'm thrilled. If it doesn't last a full year, I'm less happy.

I opted for a complete assembly and did not replace the control board. Luckily, spending a few minutes on YouTube saved me a few minutes and the whole job was done in less than half an hour. No problems since installation.

The price is excellent. Direct replacement for 1989 Chevrolet c3500. Although they look slightly different, this is a new style and matches the fork and stud pattern. Fixed my issue where the wipers wouldn't stop after I turned them off and would stop in random places. It's a little louder than the original, it rumbles. Other than that, this is a lot.

After installing the engine when I reconnected the battery. 1 the wipers didn't work and 2 I noticed the dash lights wouldn't go out when I flipped the switch and that fried my new ignition & 175. Now not only are my wipers not working now I have to fight it at parts stores and try to get them to replace it and if not it's more money out of my pocket and a job I will miss it's the truck my company and the only truck i have so thanks.

I found a video on YouTube that shows exactly how to replace the engine. Bought this one. Fits right where the old one was. It took about 45 minutes to replace and adjust the wipers. Most of the time was spent removing all the other components to get to the motor mount. When I turned on the wipers, the motor wasn't running. Doh! I forgot to connect the motor. Check everything again and then get back to work. The engine works perfectly. I can't say how long it will last, but so far so good.
