Exactly what my tube amp needs at home!

No cons. Upgrade from tubes to GE 5654w. The preamp with built-in BT works great. It goes perfectly with my homemade tube amp. I give it πŸ‘

Loud but not for the better, although for the price it's hard to fault.

Maybe it's the tubes but mine was pretty loud, especially compared to another tube preamp I bought from Revain which is black/silver and a little different. This tube preamp will add some tube sound to your music, but it will add more noise than anything else, and it's not nice warm thin tube preamp noise, it's just crappy distortion. For the price though, it's hard to complain, you get a real preamp with working bass and treble controls, it just sucks that it's that loud. Maybe it's the tubes,
