My box arrived with cracks. The bottom deck is not very thick, the leg was tightened too tight and the corner broke off. Luckily I was refunded the difference in the price of the mechanism/box. Excellent seller! I'll get back to you if I need more parts.

Some paper included but it's folded so doesn't go through the machine well. Buy a roll of paper and a glue stick. Print out some songs on printer paper, cut them out, and glue them onto heavy roll paper. Then punch through the notes printed on the paper. Bingo, you're in. Good sound. By the way, the key is F, not C. But apparently all 30 bill boxes are like that.

PROS: - Works as described - Sounds good - Girlfriend cried when I played her a song on it when I was messing with the sheet when she put it on fed it the first time to get it through. - The "My heart will go on" example was tricky, causing some notes to be triggered even when the notes weren't struck there - The gearing isn't very smooth, making it difficult to track songs evenly/with a good to play sometimes beat. In general I like the product, there is only room for improvement.

I sent one of these boxes back thinking it was defective but it was my fault. Here's what happened: I always test new DIY 30 note music boxes with a test strip I made years ago to make sure every note works. When I attempted this, the bottom third of the notes became partially filled when the leading edge of the paper first passed, and those notes played (off) much later than they should.
