I still prefer my binoculars.

Takes some getting used to, close your eyes and keep calm when using it. Because this is a more powerful 12x50 scope than my 10x42 binoculars, you need to adjust the focus more, and every slight tug will cause the field of view to shift even more. It's a bit harder for me to pull it to my eye and get it where I was looking. I wish the monocular had a grip so my hand didn't have to squeeze so hard. I thought a lighter monocular would be better for my arthritic hands, but I still hold it with…

MEH, mediocre optical quality

Lately I'm interested in observing wild animals (mainly birds, rabbits, chipmunks, foxes, etc.) that are constantly in our garden, so I decided to buy this monocular to try as they got good reviews, are compact and seemed to make a lot of money. Unfortunately, I just can't get past the mediocre optical quality when looking through it. Contrast, color and sharpness just don't meet my expectations. I'm a professional photographer and I have expectations for the lenses I use. and i'm used to using

From our beachfront balcony

We live in an eleventh floor condo on the beach in Panama City Beach, Florida. I figured I needed binoculars to view people, boats, jet skis, parachutes, etc. from our balcony. I looked through the binoculars and started looking at the monocular(s). I liked span 12x50 for reviews and price. I decided to give it a try. It was a good move. I took it out of the box, read the instructions for use, went to the balcony and started using it. It was wonderful. I could see pillars and buoys, little did…

Good for the price

I was looking for a good, compact and powerful monocular and when I found this one at a reasonable price and with many positive reviews I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The optics are great for the price. The picture is bright, sharp and sharp around the edges. It's lightweight and easy to use and focus with one hand. Build quality is also excellent without feeling cheap. The lens caps fit snugly and snugly, and the front stays in place when open. Some users have mentioned wanting…

  • Sturdy build

  • Very expensive

Not very good.: Camera and photo

Poor; By far the biggest problem is that the FOV is too narrow for a good display. 246 feet at 1000 yards is a tricky way of not showing true field of view. The rubber eyepiece cap is not enough and the diameter is too small. You have to hold it 1/4 inch from your eye and it wobbles a lot. I had to install my own eyepiece cup (see pictures) to keep it close to my eye and also keep it out of the inside. Adjustable eyecup, just to allow people with glasses. My new eyecup protects against this…
