These are very very quiet 80mm fans for use where you can hear the fans in the case. The airflow is moderate. So if you have a lot of heat to vent, you may need to use both. I have a medium sized server with a NAS rack for home office and media center, so I need to use 4 (two pairs) of these fans - 2 for exhaust and 2 for rack airflow. It's nice that they are quiet since the server/NAS rack is in my office. My HP desktop computer fan and power supply are louder than 4 of these fans.

I've been using these fans for almost 2 weeks and so far I'm satisfied. One for my computer, one for the kitchen window. My tower is in a small space and needs help cooling, this fan works. My dishwasher heats my entire kitchen, I use this fan in an outward facing window to remove the heat/humidity. It works better than I expected. (The dishwasher vent is just below the window vent, otherwise it definitely wouldn't be powerful enough to help.)

Very easy to use in places other than a computer tower. They work fine. However, on both, the wiring broke at the point where the cable connects to the fan. One had enough wire to strip and solder while the other had to disassemble the fan to re-solder the wire to the fan. Before using, I reinforced the corner where the wire goes in with hot glue or something.

The noise level of two fans together is zero. If I give 1 star for noise it's not fair to the seller because there is no noise. You don't need any instructions for the installation because it's very simple. The product stayed cool, hence no star for the temperature. If you are looking for the best quality USB fans at the lowest price on Amazon or eBay, this is the one you should buy. I needed replacement fans for my laptop. The 40mm USB fans were too small, revved too high and made too much noise. So I wanted to buy these 60mm fans which looked very similar in the pictures. However, I didn't expect them to be so thick! While 40mm fans are 10mm thick, they are 25mm thick. They are too thick to fit under my laptop!
