Works perfectly. Dries quickly

works great. Dries fast. It took me a few tries to figure out the inflections but I love it. Adds extra brightness to my work. Don't apply it too lightly and make sure it's 100% dry when you peel it off, otherwise the paper will tear. I used a brush designed just for this. If you have a lot of things to cover, rinse the brush completely every 10 minutes or it will be a disaster. Also wet and dry before first use for easier cleaning.

Bought in 2014 - has worked well

I bought it in 2014, then we moved, life got better and I only returned to watercoloring this year. When I found the bottle again I was afraid it had gone bad because part of the contents had hardened, but after a quick stir it was ready. I ruined the brush because I didn't read the reviews and didn't know anything about the soap. But after listening to Google with lots of petroleum jelly and elbow grease, I was able to get my brush back in a decent place. It has become one of my favorite…

Very happy with this product.

So far I'm happy with it. I've never used Masking Fluid, but it's pretty intuitive. Paint (with an unwanted fluffy brush - DO NOT use a Grümbacher for this!) the areas you want to leave alone, let dry, paint over/around, let the paint and water dry thoroughly and erase then with your finger or the eraser. I haven't had any issues with discoloration or damage to the paper and I use very cheap paper so I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, I didn't notice any of the smell that most people complain

Soap on the application brush is key!

I used Winsor Newton concealer for the first time today and it was way better than the Pebeo concealer I have used in the past. More fluid and easier to apply. I read in a review of this product that it is best to wet and lather the application brush (of your choice) before using with this product to protect your brush. I was skeptical that it would make a huge difference, but it actually worked like a charm! The brush is easy to clean and shows no effects of the masking liquid. They also don't

Gum Arabic has many uses

Winsor & Newton Gum Arabic, 75ml Products. I started using gum arabic to mix ink with Pearl EX powder pigments. They make beautiful mother of pearl products that can be painted on paper or canvas. I use them to write with calligraphy nibs. They look great, but if you just mix them with water, Pearl Ex won't last long and will wash out. Gum arabic comes to the rescue. Fixes the pigment on the paper after complete drying. Gum arabic can be quite sticky. The amount used should be carefully…

No, I'm sure it was worth it.

I couldn't decide if I would give it 3 or 2 stars because of the weather but in the end he did what he had to do. I did a little research on how to apply this material. People said whatever you do, don't use the brush, it will destroy it. Instead of a brush I used a small craft stick. This material worked well enough and looked amazing when I used it for the watercolor painting. The challenge was getting it off paper. I've known from other artists that your paper will tear if it's of poor…
