Simplest compressor connector for sprinkler systems

This little connector is a real gem. This allows for an easy, user-friendly connection from my irrigation faucet to my air compressor. Facilitates preparation for winter when flushing the fall irrigation system. Before I found this I was using a neighbor's homemade fitting consisting of a hose, clamps, a hose fitting and a compressor fitting. This is a simple piece. Now I recommend it to all my friends every fall. Each of my children also ordered home.

Made work a walk in the park

I've been a homeowner for many years and I've always had a place to blow my sprinkler system. This new house I bought had nothing but a faucet that was separate from the main power source. Without digging up a pipe and adding one, there was nothing to add either. For $8 I decided to try this as it was the only possible solution. Went like clockwork. Good brass detail and air compressor that easily connects to the hose with a standard quick connector. I thought I had to do something, but this is

Will not fit standard Quick Connect Air Compressor

Overall build quality is very good, well machined finishes with no rough edges or burrs, solid construction. However, I only have to give this product 1 star as it does not fit my standard Quick Connect air compressor. He was a little big. I measured the diameter with my digital caliper and it was 0.465 inches (or 11.82mm). While my tire is full with the gauge I currently use with the same standard Quick Connect air compressor measured 0.451 inches (11.47mm). I'll try replacing it with another…

Payback in 30 minutes

This is a great connector to hook up my air compressor to my irrigation system to flush water before winter. My sprinkler is near the ground, so I added a bent connector to it to make it easier to attach the air hose. This connector works great and connects perfectly with the air hose. Also, your air compressor has to be a gas compressor...electric ones just don't have enough power to do the job well in my opinion. I watched my neighbor try to use his electric air compressor and it took him…

Do it yourself! Required Air Compressor Accessory

Over the last 10 years I have paid $100 to winterize my sprinkler system. $100 x 10 years is $1,000. Fast forward to last year when I was home while my contractor did my winter jobs. I watched what they did. And I was amazed how easy the job was. I quickly hopped on Amazon and then tried to find all the parts I needed to make it and found myself purchasing this handy little contraption. Works perfectly to flush supply lines. You attach it to one end of a compressor fitting and the other end to…

Perfect. That's exactly what I wanted.

cool, exactly what I needed. I was shopping online to find the parts needed to make a hose based adapter to blow out my sprinklers when I came across this. My original plan was to make the same adapter with two connectors on each end of a short piece of tubing. The price for these fittings and hoses should be around $25 or more. This little guy cost less than half my original plan, it's a lot smaller, easier to store and definitely more durable as it doesn't really break anything except maybe…

Can also help descale/set WH drain

High quality, good fit (in short) Rotting entrails come to life (usually double the warranty if flushed regularly). This year, for the first time, WH will not only drain and wash off the limescale. UTube showed a hanger cleaning method = water and massive explosions all over the room, so it's better to be a basement with a drain in the floor! No thank you. Instead, connect this item to one of the Y-arms on the brass Y-valve connector. Connect the Y-base to a new rubber hose rated at 100psi…

Works great for auto-hibernation sprinklers!

You can easily winterize the system yourself. My check valve box has a nipple for this, but it's different than a typical compressor quick disconnect. Since I already have an outside faucet in the garden that is part of the watering side of the check valve, I can just attach this adapter and use my compressor to blow out the sprinklers. Note that if you don't have a faucet on the sprinkler side, you can buy parts at a hardware store to install this adapter on one of the sprinkler inlets, but…
