Gauges not accurate

Gauge is not accurate compared to higher quality gauges. I would not rely on the pressure ratings of this kit. You may be fooled by costly repairs that aren't necessary if this is your only reading.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Problems

Ok, but you need to mount an adapter for Powerstroke 7.3

If using this on Fords with power stroke you will need an adapter to clean the injector and rocker arm. The M10x1.0 thread uses a brake line adapter, it takes some ingenuity to make it work, but it's worth it.

Pros
  • . Everything is OK!
Cons
  • High Price

Mediocre Quality - Tools and Equipment

Bought to run diesel (Ford) fits my application and fits GM and the tractor I work on. Item arrived with light rust and lots of useless hardware, the material is standard and very soft, that will do for my application, but if you are in mechanical engineering look for higher quality.

Pros
  • The Best
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Good set of compression adapters

The sensor supplied is not of the best quality. I had to replace the hose because it flattened when crimping the hose ends. I replaced it with a much better quality hose and replacing it broke the plastic face of the gauge. I had to drain all the liquid from the gauge so it wouldn't mess up the case. The compression adapters are pretty good quality. The ones I used did the job. Apart from the quality of the sensor, I recommend this kit.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Difficult to say

An improperly designed one cannot be used to test tank pressure.

I bought this compression tester to check the pressure in a 5.9 Cummins cylinder. This kit contains many different components. Bottom line: this baby doesn't support a Cummins 5.9 injector, none of the parts fit in the injector bore, not to mention the sensor itself doesn't have a check valve making it impossible to get accurate compression readings, all they do is keep pumping . There are many good parts in this set, but none of them are used.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Compression gauge did not hold compression

Like many dissatisfied customers of this product, after struggling to get into the tight spaces of the engine and pulling out my first glow plug, it took me 20 minutes to get the gauge. for connection to fittings for reasons of space. When I tried to check the cylinder, the pressure gauge didn't hold. looks like the check valve is missing or stuck. After reading many similar reviews I decided to refuse a replacement and buy another brand. I've had similarly disappointing results from this brand

Pros
  • Gratifying
Cons
  • Obsolete model
