Very cheap quality steel. The lid is already damaged and black. The lid is difficult to put on. DO NOT BUY. This is exactly what we bought in India for 10 rupees. This seller sells a product of the same quality for $5+. Basically what I noticed from the reviews and my purchase is that the seller mixed up some bad quality and some good quality. So it is better not to buy from this supplier.

Ordered despite seeing some negative reviews! Need a container for powdered sugar. It's perfect. Keep a good amount but not too much. I wish it had a lid or lid. I use it as a flour digger and it's perfect. It has a beautiful stainless steel finish and is easy to clean. I've used both plastic and aluminum shakers but this is by far the best. It also works really well in powdered sugar and cinnamon mixes (like French toast). You use it like a salt shaker. Salt and moisture (humidity) will eventually corrode ALL metals, including stainless steel. If you need a large salt shaker, buy one made of plastic, glass, or one with a plastic liner.
