Great for remote in-place scanning

Very easy to use but I couldn't set it up. It was a call to an outside technician who downloaded the installation guide and walked me through it.

Works as advertised, sturdy small block

The block scans quickly and is easy to use. It holds a charge well and hasn't lost connection with any device we've connected it to so far. Slightly cheap plastic construction but works well overall.

It takes a little time to find a middle ground for returns.

Just plug in, wait for the drivers to load and get started. It takes a little time to find a good middle ground for returns, but once it's there it can handle all sorts of shady barcodes. I haven't seen how well it handles coffee stains or crappy printers, but I'm optimistic.

Mediocre reliability, decent performance

Bought three in a few weeks - one was DOA, had to return. After a month of use in a warehouse environment, one of the first triggers we used broke. I fixed it by soldering in a new momentary switch. A week later the second one broke, same problem with the trigger switch. Now, a week later, the first one broke again, this time it wouldn't hold a charge. I give it three stars because we use it in a demanding environment and I'm sure users don't take it too lightly. I assume they should be fine…
