Waste of time for car safety

We spent all day getting this camera installed correctly, the picture quality ended up being poor. The app is very confusing and doesn't work properly, keeps crashing, very disappointed with this camera. Stay away.

Invasion of privacy

The app for this device cannot be used without allowing access to your phone's contacts, email, pictures and location. I have answered "No" to all requests for access to information on my phone and the application has not been activated. I don't know why I should allow access to my information to see what's behind me. Do not purchase this item if you are not willing to allow access to all information on your phone.

Stay away! Best Car Backup Camera

What a disappointment. Crappy instructions, crappy app, and inconsistencies at best. The reason I bought this was so the camera was aimed at my hitch to help with hitching the trailer. I was having trouble loading the app. We ended up downloading the app, after which we had to struggle to get the phone to recognize the camera's WiFi. I played with it and thought I'd nailed it. Rearview mirror display on cell phone, perfect for e-bike!

I installed this camera on an e-bike conversion that had just been completed. I wanted to use my Android phone as a rear view mirror. My e-bike battery has a USB connector, so I used a USB 5V to 12V converter cable to power the camera. that works great! When I turn on the e-bike system, my phone connects to the camera's wifi hotspot and I press the F-Car app, that's it. When I turn off my phone, it reconnects to my home wifi. I wanted to try this rear camera after reading that it had been upgraded to 1080p. After seeing some of the negative reviews I decided to test it out first before proceeding with the installation - just in case I decide to return it.
