Drank for a few years.

Rubberized case without screen protector. Nothing has ever broken in the fall. There is a plug for the charging port on the underside that became very loose, but it took a year for that to happen. All in all a decent case, but many at a lower price point are probably just as good. The case became very loose after a few years of everyday use.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Update availability

I would say not that easy to install!

I bought this to fix a broken antenna. The dealer wants $140 for the part and $300 for the labor. So I removed the broken parts of the old antenna and installed it on top. The way to install 3M tape is not the best! The cars are different, the gap was big. I took some RTV silicone glue and filled the entire inside of the fin around the docking area and then closed the gap. Looks great and has greatly improved radio reception.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • This makes me angry

It wouldn't grab me from the start.

I would like to rate the sound reception but the antenna was not plugged in to begin with. I had ideal conditions - warm weather, a somewhat flat roof surface (Toyota Corolla 2004) and rubbed alcohol on the surface before gluing. However, I noticed on the first run that it doesn't lay flat and starts to ramp up from one end. I pushed it back and held it, but on the second pass (not even on the freeway) it was dangling from the wire.

Pros
  • wide range
Cons
  • neutral
