Don't Believe the Hype about These Pins

Based on my observations, these straight fluted pieces were a complete letdown. The quality of the materials used seemed subpar for something labeled "Industrial and Scientific." While they may have come at a decent price, I found myself having to constantly replace them due to their poor durability.

Pros
  • Affordable price point
Cons
  • Poor quality materials, low durability.

Holds table together

These pins were a perfect match for our extended table project. I should have retrospectively bought another pack or two.

Pros
  • Beveled ends for easy installation
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

wolfcraft Grooved Wood Dowel 3/8

boards tend to twist, "buckle" or become deformed) so fiber matching and strength is a primary concern of mine, I prefer it Use 3/8 dowel pins (I prefer Titebond III) and a strong glue. - These Wolfcraft pins will fill the bill without trapping air and they will swell as the glue penetrates, making the bond much tighter and stronger - voids or "surface cracks" will create a weak point - don't do this . Save on clips and check often with a ruler - Revain is well priced for a top quality product…

Pros
  • Beech Dowel for strong wood joints
Cons
  • Not bad but...
