SHE BLOWS LOUD! - Electric

Air supply via 1/2" DOT air line, air brake fittings, 1/2" remote mounted solenoid valve, 5 gallon air tank and engine driven York 210 supercharger. This is VERY redundant for this horn. This horn is extremely efficient and loud in air consumption, it will ring loudly in your ears, if you are too close you will feel it loudly in your chest. I think it will work well on almost any air rig. IMO the loudest best bang for your buck.

Water seal required

Took them apart to test as they have been under my truck for 2 years. I sometimes took them off to clean them. I wanted to polish them again and decided to take them apart because I heard a rumble inside and found this. There should be a seal around them to keep water out. As you can see, the overall build here is not very good. They managed to clean properly. This impassable screw is broken there and cannot pull it out.

  • Cool product

WOLO products and customer service are top notch!

Super charged! WOLO customer service has been exceptionally helpful in resolving connection issues from 1/4" to 3/8" output line. Sean sent me the right fitting to get my expansion line working. I tried but local pipes and fittings co-opted me with the wrong threads and sizes and basically split the device. WOLO helped me figure out what I was given wrong and sent me the right adapter to fix the problem and other hardware. Now it works nice and loud! Thanks for the help VOLO. The seller here…

AWESOME!: Electric

This horn is ridiculously loud. I installed it with the following add-ons: Viair 20007 2 gallon 200 psi constant power auto air compressor, Wolo 804EV electric solenoid valve. I lower the horn pressure to 60psi because the diaphragm wears faster at higher pressures. At 60 psi and 100 feet away, it still makes you jump! I installed it under the hood and Chevy 07 1500 4wd. Fits tight but works great. The kit included all the necessary screws/fasteners and even had a piece of hose with connectors.

The big horn is the best among the spares

I have had this horn for 2 years now. It's still going strong. I have a few words of wisdom for new settings. I was struggling with air leaks. I hate air leaks. I used 1/4 row id. It has been a constant struggle with the use of collars and collars. I suggest either using OD DOT hoses or if you need more flow use Parker Push-Lok fittings and a hose combo. Parker fittings never leak, require no clamp and are rated to 300 degrees. Also buy a good quality 1/4 or 1/8 industrial magnet. Buy…

This is no joke the sound literally penetrates your soul

For the price I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is, right out of the box I topped up my garage air tank to 165psi and one air plugged the cap into the connector on the horn to try it out and let me just say make sure you wear hearing protection as it will literally jar your brain and blur your vision. To the point that I have to be really careful when actually using it on the road as it can cause an accident at such a loud volume that it will scare someone to death. It says it's rated…

GREAT SOUND - Electric

Oh my god this thing is LOUD. Not as menacing as my train horn (meaning it's not as deep or loud), but it's SUPER LOUD. Please note this horn does NOT include a valve or solenoid for use (MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY). Almost any 1/4" NPT or MIP thread valve will work with this, although it does come with an adapter for the lower parts to 1/8 (through the roof or hood air intake) to make it suitable for the 1/4 line to adjust - or if you take the plug under the pipe there is a 1/4 inlet that I…

Sounds great on CO2

Update 04/14/20: It has been overclocked to 350psi (highest setting of my CO2 regulator) for over 3 years. I would say the average usage is around 3 seconds per week in traffic and 5-10 seconds to state once a month. Still strong. At 350psi, that's a lot louder than a train. I once compared it at a railroad crossing and it sounded about 3 times longer than a train horn. My horn is powered by my CO2 setup set at 150psi and it sounds fantastic. Doesn't sound exactly like our FD horns but that's…
