I convert slides to keep for my family and I won't be photoshopping them. The files are 72 dpi and the files are 4-5mg each. If I needed a higher resolution I would buy something else. I'm glad Titan is easy to use as I copy over 1000 slides from the 1950's to 1970's. I expect the colors of the slides to be a bit different than they were in the 1950s and 60s, so the results don't bother me. I had this unit for a few weeks and finally installed it. The device is fairly easy to use, but it would have been helpful if the instructions pointed out a battery hole, which I eventually found. I've found that most of the slides I've scanned have a black bar at the bottom. It's not on the slide as seen on my light table. My first impression is that it's not as easy to use as advertised and the scan results aren't as good as I'd hoped. I am still evaluating the product but may return it. I bought it mainly to digitize APS and the 35mm negatives I have from various trips. The attached images show the results of my first test scans.
