I ordered these for my vacation in Mexico where I knew I would be doing activities like zip line, quad biking, snorkeling, water skiing etc. I was looking for water shoes that could have been me at events but were otherwise nice to wear so I didn't have to carry two pairs of shoes. and that's it! I ordered half a size smaller than my normal shoes as I will be using them for aqua fitness in the pool. I wanted to make sure they stay on while I'm actively exercising. However, I found that they fit me better even before I put them on in the pool. The shoes have stretchy elastic laces and a latch to keep the laces secure when worn so I hope they stay on my feet. My recommendation would be to order a full size smaller. As another customer pointed out, they smell like plastic. Fingers crossed…
