Comfortable multifunctional shoe

After reading previous reports that shoes run small, I ordered 1/2 size larger. They fit really well, I could probably order my normal size but didn't want to risk it. Most of the other reviews are mostly about the water sports, but I bought these for my Costa Rica vacation. I've worn my Ryka's zip lining, ridden horses, hiked and swum waterfalls. They dried very quickly, were light, comfortable and easy to wear in the water and on land. Can't wait to see how they fare for camping and fishing…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great support for training in the pool!

This is Ryka's third pair of water shoes. They were slightly larger than my previous pair. The second pair I bought both shoes came apart at the seams ☹️ Was disappointed I couldn't get a refund. These seem much better. The insole is slightly heavier and the material feels heavier. I love the color and added the navy blue laces which are essential for the water shoes. They don't slide in the pool. I have two knee and hip prostheses so they are very durable. If they last as well as my first…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great water shoes

Great shoes for water sports. I love her in the pool. I had to change my laces, they are too long and keep unraveling no matter how many knots you tie. Shoelaces changed to Sof Sole 27-45" with no laces. I used shoelaces to secure them together. No more untied shoelaces dangling around my legs in the pool. Problem solved, shoes are better. I have plantar fasciitis and a heel spur. These shoes give me the extra heel cushioning I need when training in the water and I don't have to use…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Can't remember

Ryka Hydro Sport women's sneakers are good shoes for water aerobics. I wanted a shoe that would last longer than my last shoe which only lasted a year (3-4 hours a week). Based on the reviews I think this shoe will last longer than my previous shoe which cost significantly less. I was disappointed that the laces on the boots are ordinary and inelastic. I would have to bend it several times and I could not get the shoe as tight as I would like. However, I saw the review recommend "Lock Laces"…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Expensive

Great for the pool - not recommended to wear water shoes when hiking

I bought these shoes for our honeymoon in Belize which included a cave tour. I thought crossing the river in the cave and also climbing a higher ledge would be a good option. If I had to make a choice again, I would choose a different shoe for the purpose I need. Since the bottom of the shoe is open to allow water to drain, lots of small rocks and sand can also get inside. This caused inconveniences when walking during the tour and other hikes. training them in my pool and liking them for pool…

Misleading labeling Wrong size

UPDATE: I have returned and reordered and my new pair was perfect. I usually love RYKAs and only wear them for fitness. I ordered them to replace a pair of the same style that I had worn out. Uncomfortable but not critical. I tried the first one and it seemed a bit small to me. I figured it was because I was used to my old ones and they needed breaking in. I tried on the second one and they seemed even smaller. I took them off to check the size and noticed the labels looked like they had been…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

My favorite shoes! â Shoes

I'm almost 60 years old and have always been active on the water - boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming, diving. It is very difficult to find "water shoes" that are comfortable and durable at the same time. I thought this shoe was a bit more expensive than water shoes, but decided to try this one (and another brand that was a lot cheaper). These shoes are worth EVERY PENNY and might be my favorite shoe. They're so comfortable (exactly my size and I average 7.5US) that I often wear them around…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

For those who don't like barefoot shoes

I needed a new pair of water shoes for the gym (sauna/steam room/hot tub) and local spa as my old ones were worn out. I have flat feet with neuropathy and virtually no love handles on my buttocks so I can't stand or walk for long periods of time and I need something with soul that's like regular shoes to walk in water. I tried on the "barefoot" slippers first because that was all I could find in the big stores, but the showers just felt too flimsy and uncomfortable for me. First I looked at…

Pros
  • Quality construction

  • Requires a power outlet
