Women'S Off Shoulder Maxi Dress With Ruffles And Side Split Pockets Review

I'm 5'10, 173 lbs, 36 DD and narrow hipped. This dress is a little wide in the hip area for me, and it is shorter then I'd like for a maxi (slightly above my ankles). I wish it were a touch longer, but I'm going to try and wash it to stretch it down. Overall, I'm keeping it though because the top is pretty and flattering and it's comfortable.

It is a good color and very nicely made. I had thought it would be a little lighter weight fabric but as it is it should work for all weather conditions in Arizona. In the summer time, it will be great at night and in the winter months it will be perfect for most day or evening wear (with a jacket as needed for the temperatures). I think this is the first thing I have ordered from Oyanus but I don't think it will be the last. Thank you.

Only gave this dress a three because the elastic band in the dress snapped when I put it on. It’s a very very thin elastic and it wasn’t like I was over stretching the dress, I lifted my arms to take my hair out from my hair tie and SNAP! The entire top of the dress just slid off exposing my chest. So sad because it was such a perfect dress. Will try it again in hopes I get a good one. True to size, so comfy and LOVED the pockets.

This dress is so pretty! I live in maxi dresses during the summer and wanted one that looked special for dates. The blue I ordered is a beautiful saturated shade, the length is perfect and I love the side slit! Best of all, the top fits snugly around your shoulders, so no wardrobe malfunctions. I love that my upper arms are covered as well - I've got a large, unfortunately aged tattoo on my bicep, and finding cute summer dresses that cover my upper arms is next to impossible! I love this dress. I bought one years ago and have recently bought 3 more in different colors. I am short so it is a touch long, but I just wear shoes with a thicker sole. I always get tons of compliments when I wear it and it is so comfortable. I have a D-cup and don't even need to wear a bra because the folder-over ruffles covers the important bits. When on camera for a video conference, I pull it onto the shoulders. At night, I wear it off-shoulder. Both ways are cute and work.

I love this dress. It's so comfy and great color. Love the pockets. I bought it to wear as a bridesmaid in a beach wedding. I got lots of compliments. I only gave it 3 stars though because the second time I wore it, the elastic at the top bust and the dress came toppling down. I was in private thank goodness. :) But it does seem like an easy fix, so I am just going to get someone to sew it back.

I’m 5’2 and I am in love with this dress, it’s so comfortable and flattering. The slit is perfect, the pockets are amazing, the fabric is soft, and it fits perfectly. I followed the size chart and was not disappointed. I will probably get it shortened a bit, but that's not uncommon for me with maxis.

I was hesitant to buy clothing on Walmart but it actually turned out pretty nice. I am 5'8 and bought a medium. The length is just above the ground so I do not have to worry about it dragging. The slits are not too high but show off enough leg so you still feel kind of sexy. They do not fly open so you are not overly exposed. The only down side is, the material is kind of thicker for the summer so I sweat easily in it. I get lots of compliments every time I wear it so all in all I am pleased…

I am 5'2, 120lbs and ordered a small. It fits great! It is a smidge long in length if I wear flats but in heels it wouldn't be an issue at all. It has pockets, which is a bonus! The pink is definitely "baby girl pink". I would recommend this dress to anyone looking for a cute off the shoulder maxi for their next family photo session or date night.

It looks just like the photo! Cotton type fabric. I am 5'7 and 125 pounds and ordered a small. I typically like my dresses a little longer than this one because I have long legs, but its still pretty!More of a laid back look, though! Perfect for what I was buying it for.

Great fit, really cute on! Pocket are awesome - dress is very flattering! Only reason it did not get 5 stars is the side slits are a little high up - I am 5'10 so it may be better on a shorter girl. Also being 5'10 the dress does not go down to my feet but still really pretty on. I wear it to work with a belt and out at night.

See through material. Does not fit as pictured for me. Made me look bigger then I am. Front area, made me look pregnant. The dress may not be suitable for all body shapes!

Great dress! Fits perfectly, only reason I didn't give it 5 stars- not color fast. It will bleed onto everything in your wash (even darks didn't stand a chance). Wash separately the first few times.

This dress is super comfy and it has pockets! Only downside is that it’s a bit see through, but nothing light colored panties can’t fix.

This is an extremely comfortable dress. I love the color. I don't dry it in the dryer. I just wash it in cold water, then hang to dry. What I like about the dress is that it is cotton and not binding. I wore this at the lake when it was humid. I get so many compliments when I wear this. It's long enough that I can wear flats, flip flops or I can wear heels. The slits on the sides are not too high to wear they show too much skin, but are sexy enough to wear they make the dress look beautiful.

I was surprised at the fabric first. Then the color and the fit. It’s perfect. I wore this to a banquet and it was exquisite. However, the pockets can’t hold a cellphone ; the dress tugs and goes out of shape. The pockets are just for a credit card or to put your hand in for a pose or comfort. This dress can be worn causally or formally. Very versatile.
