Everything about this product looks rich and elegant - except the instructions, NO WORD to explain how to do it. Just some incomprehensible pictures and arrows. The box and all the individual parts look so beautiful. Why was it impossible to try to explain the structure of the structure? screwed it all up for me It's still in the box.

I opened this up on my bed (because it was on the bedroom table) and sorted through the pieces to put them together. I thought I missed one and as I bent down to reach it the piece slipped under my knee and broke. The material is similar to cardboard/chipboard, very thin. I glued the broken piece and put it back together. Wooden pieces slide when you try to move them. Works great for what it does, just wish it was a little stronger. Assembly was agonizing as the screws didn't go straight in and I had to unscrew a lot of screws because the later piece of wood didn't fit properly so the other board had to be loosened to accommodate they can be worn. Assembled not as nice as in the picture. There are gaps because the screws literally didn't go straight in. Looks ok but the wood is rough and my markers and pencils stick out a lot further than in the photo. I wanted a cleaner look. Should have looked at the reviews. Oh well…

I bought one of these for crayons and fell in love. They're narrow enough to sit on the edge of my desk without taking up too much space, and they display everything nicely. I bought two more for pens and brushes. Worked great for them. My mom liked it so she bought it too and she loves it. Good idea, good size, but skip this product. I bought for my workbench to organize some micro tools. We needed something simple and fast, we just don't have time to build something for ourselves. I'm a retired furniture maker and make miniatures for a living now, so I'm pretty good at building things. I have never seen a worse mounting method.
