Best not to buy this in the kitchen and dining area

This is a piece of junk, I should have read the reviews first. Since you can't even return this item, save your money and forget to order this item. I contacted Revain and asked them to remove this from the list as it is not working properly.

Inaccurate Temperature Junk Cannot be Returned

This thermometer is so inaccurate it's not even funny, after receiving it and using it for the first time I calibrated it using cold water with ice and boiling water. The temperatures were far away. I wanted to return it only to find out it couldn't be returned or refunded. Don't make the mistake I made when I bought it.

Great product at a great price!

Excellent thermometer! We gave a lot for one, before that he always had problems. The price of this one was great so I decided to give it a try, at least it didn't cost a fortune but this one is great. It's easy to use and read. I even used it in making candy and it worked! Great product with a great price!

Update: So after my last check I found that it stopped working, turning on and off when I try to use it , and does not always appear when I unfold the tip. I've tried a new dough that gives the same results; Previous Review: I am looking for a thermometer to demonstrate how to check calibration for my class and also as a class gift; It was calibrated but their battery died so I added my own. I prefer a thinner tip so I can test a few others before making my decision. I've decided to keep it…

It works, but it's not an instant read

If you're looking for an instant read thermometer, keep going. This one isn't for you. Pros: It seems accurate and it has an auto shut off when you close the sensor. Cons: It's slow to give a definitive reading and there's no way to set it to the default in Fahrenheit. It always starts in Celsius and you have to press a button to change it.

One of the things I like most about it is that it's a regular .

This is just what I need. You don't have to spend more money to be trendy. I am not a culinary specialist. I need it to know when my grill is ready without any special knowledge. Just as it is. One of the things I love most about it is that it runs on a standard AAA battery and it comes with it! Would recommend to anyone who really needs a decent digital thermometer.
