Description of πŸ”§ Retractable Caster Mounting Machine for Workbenches

Now you can effortlessly move your workbench machine to any location in your workshop or job site. The Workbench Caster kit 4 Heavy Duty Retractable Casters with 4 Pin Lock Quick Release Mounting Plates allows you to quickly switch casters from a workbench to a cabinet, stand or a machine. When your work bench is ideally in place, simply remove the casters from the plates, thus ensuring that the casters are out of your way and not obstructing your workbench or equipment in tight spaces. The included pin lock quick release plates lock your workbench caster in using a simple pin lock system. This makes switching the casters out to another workbench, cabinet, stand or machine a breeze. When multiple sets of quick release plates are installed on multiple workbenches or equipment, one set of casters can mobilize each workbench, table, work stand or machine! It takes four plates per workbench, table, work stand or machine to use in this manner. Two different mounting methods are possible with the quick release mounting plates. We have included wood screws to mount the plates to workbenches or flat sided wooden legs. Also included are extra long bolts with lock nuts to make attaching the plates to thicker workbench legs easier. The bolts can also be used to install the plates on tube steel and other flat metal surfaces found on light machinery. The included set of 4 casters work by simply pushing down on the pedals to raise your workbench off the floor. Once all four caster assemblies are engaged and your workbench is elevated you can move it into place as desired, then push down then up on the pedals to disengage the caster assembly so your workbench sits firmly on the floor. Each lift pedal is textured to provide extra grip. The plates will accept workbench casters with an assembly mount plate that measures 3-9/16” tall x 2-3/8” wide x 5/32” thick. The pin lock plates have been designed to fit most styles and brand of workbench casters. Please Note: The assembly mount plate is the flat part of your workbench caster assembly that gets screwed or bolted to the workbench leg. The 2-3/8” urethane casters are rated for 210 lbs of capacity, which means all four together give you a total weight capacity of 840 lbs.

This is Genius

I have a very large desk, 3 monitors 27, electric piano, UPS 2200, it was almost impossible to move it for cleaning or cable management. In fact, the last time I moved was about 10 years ago and I deleted everything from there. I found out about these wheels after watching videos on YouTube. I ordered them almost immediately without actually measuring or straining my brain to see if they would fit. In short, history may tell you that I now rearrange my desk at least once a week. It elevates my…

Overall good product with some caveats

Overall form and function good for casters. Easy enough to install. A few caveats though. Firstly, this particular model is overpriced weight wise in my opinion. 900€ is too high a valuation. Second, the actual rise in reels is very short. You cannot turn over a doorstep. As such, they work perfectly on ultra-flat concrete floors, but maneuvering over bumps or porches is impossible at 900 pounds. So I really like the idea of these skates, but if they're going to be really useful at 900 pounds…

Very unstable when changing direction

Rolls do not align when changing direction. This causes the workbench to tip over when I extend the table and change direction to push it back. With a 500lb lathe on a workbench, this becomes very dangerous. I would not recommend using these rollers on a bench or object unless you are strong enough to balance them when changing direction. I am very disappointed in these reels as they have been described as capable of carrying a total load of 840lbs. I bought two sets and was using one when I…
